Off to the motherland!

I’m off to Kerala to visit family and enjoy life. We have a house there and it’s usually my get-a-way. My parents are from there, we grew up there as children(for my dad’s job) and so we often go there. The only thing I hate is the GOING THERE PART. Literally a 24 hour plane-trip. Gahhhh.

I’ll be back soon for school and to see my loves! Only thing I’m NOT looking forward to is sitting next to creepers, babies & obnoxious parents. I hope everyone has a great 2 1/2 weeks!

I live in a Barbie World...

Just like any other girl I have always adored Barbie and now as an adult I adore her even more! No, I don’t play with barbies anymore but I do have a Barbie Painting of myself(It was a bday gift, come on now…I’m not that Narcissistic!)

Anyhow, Noir Jewelry has collaborated with Barbie by making charms, necklaces, rings and the lovely 26 products that are out will make any adult girl fall in love!!! Noir Jewelry got really popular once they teamed up with DC comics and made jewelry that has the famous Wonder Woman logo and other fabulous masked heros stuff.

As a closet nerd, I immediately fell in love with their DC collection..

Now check out their Barbie Collection.

The good girl gone Blonde - As a blonde addict, I expect every little blondie out there to purchase this or to adore it. What cute Blondie can say no to this?

Barbie Pyramid ring - nOir jewels is known for their classic pyramid rings and they just turned Barbiefied this so you lovely dolls and fabulous boys can prance this around your lovely finger.

This little beauty necklace has everything a gal  has…Charms that include, hangers, shoes, purses, lipsticks, shoes etc. This necklace is the Must-Have current Barbie product. Ohhhh so beautiful!!

Barbie dream house ring - Ladies and fabulous boys, this ring opens up. Now, close your eyes and go back to your childhood days where you were in your room and you had your wonderful Barbie dollhouse…Now,open your eyes. Doesn’t this ring resemble that little doll house you once had? Oh my goodness. I love this ring!

Charms range from curling irons, to lipsticks, to HEELS & blow dryers

nOir jewels also put out this beautiful ring in the Barbie format…

Ohhh…If my ears were pierced I would DEFINITELY buy these in a heart beat but they’re not :(

- Prices range from $30 - $375 which I think is great because you can also buy the things you can afford because in today’s economy everyones on a lovely budget!

I hope everyone has a wonderful wednesday. I just got over my illness and I hope this week will be better! xoxox — the Brown girl

What to wear to work(and it continues)...

I’m continuing monday’s post…

4. Dresses - Not the sexy cocktail dress but the free classic dresses that cover your arms and are in the conservative form. You can always wear your fall dresses with tights, cardigans & closed toed-boots or spring up your footwear in a peep-toe pump!

5. Other Skirts rather than the Pencil skirt - From Flare skirts to flowy skirts to straights to pleated…Skirts are a MUST HAVE in your work-closet! No, you do not need to wear your minis, glitter skirts, etc to work but instead be classy and CLEAN!

6. Blazers - Various blazers to wear with your skirts, slacks, dress shorts & casual jeans for casual fridays. Remember to get your blazers tailored because in order to look sharp your clothes must be in tact.

~ I hope you have enjoyed the posts so far, I’ll be finishing these posts on Friday. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! xoxo — Brownie

Gasssp! What to wear to Work....

I’m continuing my post from Friday about the great ways to dress for your white collar fun jobs.

So Here it goes….

1. Form Fitting Pencil skirt - You’re young, you’re vibrant and you have the world at your finger tips the form-fitted, silhouette expresses the youth in your bones and plus this is conservativly office friendly.

2. Classic blouse. A flowy blouse makes your attire look clean and saucy. This is a must-have for a working woman because it brings variety to your work outfits.

- Form fitted blouse you can wear alone, under a blazer or…

under a cardigan & finish off with a belt that makes the outfit pop.

- Cardigans are amazing knit tops that bring out your tops in a fashionable manner and what makes it fun is that you can dress up in a cardigan in many ways! Especially when there are several different types of knit tops!

- The Typical Cardigan you can wear alone…

- if you have a Straw cardigan you can wear it over a plain camisole.

You can always twist it up by wearing it over your form fitted shirt.

3. Classic form-fitted Shirt.

This is a must must must MUST have in your closet. IF you ask me why I might want to punch you in the baby maker :o)

VS

Long sleeve - What I adore about long sleeves is that you can always push up the sleeves after a long days of work and just…RELAX.

~ I hope you enjoyed the posts this far, I’ll be continueing this post on Wednesday and I hope you all have a great Mooonday! xoxox - Brownie
